Coconut Geek to Host Pickleball Event: The Coconut Geek in Florida will host a one-day pickleball event on Wednesday, January 8, featuring team-based matches. Meanwhile, the Australian Open will stage the AO Pickleball Slam later this month, marking the sport’s growing global presence.

Florida Event Promises Exciting Team Matches

The Coconut Geek’s Pickleball event requires participants to register in teams. Each team will play at least four matches during the competition, held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Participants must arrive by 5:45 PM. Registration is open until January 7, with a $30 fee payable by credit card.

People aged 18 and above can register online or offline for the event. Pickleball’s rapid rise in popularity across the U.S. is expected to draw players and fans alike.
