Pickleball Fundraiser at Lake Geneva: The Donald Driver Foundation will host a pickleball fundraiser on July 26, 2025, at Lake Geneva Tennis and Pickleball in Lake Geneva, WI. The event offers players a chance to compete in a fun, competitive environment while supporting the foundation’s efforts.
Event Details and Format
The tournament will feature a Set Partner Pool Play format followed by Single Elimination Brackets. Competitors can register as teams and sign up for different divisions, including Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles for skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.5.
The day will begin with early divisions starting at 8:30 AM, with afternoon divisions scheduled around 2:00 PM.
Each team is guaranteed at least five games. Matches will be played to 11 points, with a win-by-2 rule, and each team is allowed one time-out per game. Players can register for multiple divisions for an additional $40 per bracket.
Additional Event Features
The event will be held on 6 dedicated pickleball courts and 10 additional courts on tennis courts. Although some players may not play on the dedicated pickleball courts due to the number of participants, everyone is expected to have plenty of playing time. The tournament will also feature complimentary food after each division.
Sign-Up and Fees
The entry fee is $80 per player, with an additional $40 for each extra division. Participants must also pay a $5 technology fee.
Players are required to create a DUPR account, and the tournament scores will be submitted to DUPR within a week after the event.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made before July 18, 2025, are eligible for a full refund minus processing fees. No refunds will be issued after that date.
The event is expected to be a fun-filled day of pickleball, with an opportunity to meet Packers Hall of Famer Donald Driver. The tournament promises to be a memorable experience for participants and spectators.
