Get Newked 2025 will feature matches across multiple skill levels, including Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The event aims to provide a competitive yet fun environment for participants of various skill levels, from 2.5 to Open.
Tournament Format and Registration
This pickleball tournament will take place on 8 outdoor permanent courts. Players must register individually through PickleballBrackets.com, with fees set at $15 per player, increasing to $20 after January 20. Each participant must pay separately, ensuring smooth entry into their chosen events.
Skill and Paddle Guidelines
Participants are expected to register for their appropriate skill level. Players who have medaled in higher-level events are not eligible to compete at lower levels.
Paddle validation won’t be conducted for all players, but concerns about equipment must be reported to the tournament desk.
Tournament Highlights
Saturday will feature Men’s and Women’s Doubles, while Sunday will focus on Mixed Doubles pickleball events across various skill divisions. Each match result will be recorded and updated in DUPR ratings, adding to the competitive nature of the tournament.
Important Notes
- If a teammate fails to register on time, the first player will be placed on a waiting list. Once the second teammate registers, they will be moved off the waiting list if space allows.
- In case brackets do not fill, tournament management may combine divisions as needed.
- Refunds will only be issued if cancellations are made before February 3rd, with a $5 administration fee deducted for withdrawals after the deadline.
Weather and Venue
The tournament will take place rain or shine. Efforts will be made to complete matches, and if a complete washout occurs, refunds minus an administrative fee will be issued.
