The Palm Creek Member Tournament, sponsored by Original US Coins & Collectibles, will be held from February 27th to March 2nd, 2025, at Palm Creek Resort & Residences in Casa Grande, Arizona. This tournament is exclusively for Palm Creek Pickleball Club members and will feature Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles events with skill and age divisions.
Tournament Details
The competition will include Double Elimination events for various skill levels from 2.5 to 5.0, and age divisions ranging from 35+ to 75+. Each day of the tournament will focus on different events:
- Thursday, February 27th: Mixed Doubles
- Friday, February 28th: Women’s Doubles
- Saturday, March 1st: Mixed Doubles (higher skill levels)
- Sunday, March 2nd: Men’s Doubles
Registration and Membership Requirements
To participate, players must be current members of the Palm Creek Pickleball Club. Registration and payment are conducted online through pickleballbrackets.com, and each member must provide an access code to register. Non-members and those without a USAP membership are welcome to play under Palm Creek’s own tournament rules.
Skill and Age Group Breakdown
Skill levels range from 2.5 to 5.0, and age groups include:
- 35-49
- 50-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75+
Tournament Insights
According to the Tournament Committee, skill level assignments are based on USAP standards. Players with no official USAP rating may be placed according to the Committee’s assessment of their ability. This ensures fair competition among all participants.
