The 2025 World Pickleball Open (WPO) presented by HSS Florida will take place on March 15-16 at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Florida. This pickleball tournament is organized by Players International Management (PIM) and will feature a variety of skill levels.
The event will be a round-robin format, with a minimum of three matches for each participant. Competitors will play in various age and skill categories, including Women’s and Men’s Doubles on March 15 and Mixed Doubles on March 16. The matches will be held at Patch Reef Park, located at 2000 Yamato Rd, Boca Raton, FL.
Registration Details
Early Bird Registration opens on November 15, 2024, with a $35 registration fee plus $40 per event. After February 10, 2025, the registration fee increases to $45, along with the event fees. Players are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. Registration ends on March 2, 2025.
Each participant will receive an official tournament t-shirt, regardless of the number of events they enter.
Tournament Format and Rules
This pickleball event will use a round-robin format, with participants playing a minimum of three matches. Matches will be played to 11 or 15 points, depending on the site director’s decision. Medals will be awarded based on the number of matches won, with tie-breaking determined by head-to-head results and point differential.
In divisions with 8 or more teams, the format will include a playoff round. The tournament also plans to have a certified referee on-site to answer any rule-related questions.
Free Spectator Admission and Charity Toy Drive
Spectators can attend the tournament for free. As part of the event’s community outreach, there will be a Holiday Toy Drive. Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring new toys to donate to local hospitals.

Refund and Partner Replacement Policies
Players who need to withdraw by February 21, 2025, can receive a full refund, minus a processing fee. After that date, no refunds will be issued. Additionally, players who lose a partner may replace them with another registered participant in the same skill/age category. Any replacement requests must be made by 6 p.m. the day before the match.
Venue and Parking
The tournament will take place at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Florida. There is no parking fee for attendees. The park’s central location makes it easily accessible for both participants and spectators.
