Corpus Christi Athletic Club Opens New Pickleball Complex: A Game Changer for the Community

The Corpus Christi Athletic Club (CCAC) celebrated the grand opening of its new pickleball complex on January 10. The facility features eight indoor courts, blacklight options for glow-in-the-dark play, locker rooms, and an outdoor seating area with fire pits.

Modern Amenities for Players

The new 20,000-square-foot complex offers modern amenities designed to enhance the pickleball experience. In addition to the eight courts, the facility includes men’s and women’s locker rooms and a relaxing outdoor seating area where members can enjoy fire pits.

The addition of blacklight on the courts allows players to enjoy a unique glow-in-the-dark experience, making it a fun activity for families and friends.

Community Investment by the Susser Family

Sam Susser, chief executive officer of the Corpus Christi Athletic Club, expressed pride in the expansion.

The pickleball courts are available to members and non-members, with members receiving reservation priority. CCAC has also opened a new 7,000-square-foot area featuring premium fitness equipment, including 10 bench stations with barbells, plates, and kettlebells. This addition supports the club’s mission to promote health and fitness in the community.
