Midwest’s Best Pickleball Showdown: The Midwest’s Best Pickleball Showdown will take place from March 28 to March 30, 2025, at The Pickleball Factory in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Registration opens on January 13 and ends on March 19, with an initial cost of $60 per player, increasing to $65 after February 1.
Tournament Details
This exciting event will feature a double-elimination format with winners’ and losers’ brackets. Matches in the winners’ bracket will consist of 2/3 games to 11, win by 2, while the losers’ bracket will have a one-game match to 15, win by 2. All medal matches will be 2/3 games to 11, win by 2. There is also a “come around” rule, which allows teams in the losers’ bracket to work their way back to the gold medal match.
Prize Money for Open Brackets
Prize money will be awarded for the open brackets, with the top three teams receiving $777 for first place, $377 for second place, and $177 for third place. Prize money will be awarded per team in these brackets only.
Registration and Refunds
Players can register for up to three events at no extra charge, except for the open brackets. All registration fees must be paid for a spot to be confirmed. Refunds are available until March 19, minus a $25 fee.
Venue and Parking
The tournament will be hosted at The Pickleball Factory, located at 1507 Independence St, Cape Girardeau, MO. Parking is free for all participants and spectators.
