The Fort in Fort Lauderdale, home to the world’s first pickleball stadium, has partnered with Franklin Sports and Diadem Sports as its official ball suppliers. This partnership, announced on January 9, 2025, aims to elevate the pickleball experience for players and establish The Fort as a global hub for the sport.
Leading Brands Support The Fort’s Vision
Franklin Sports, the world’s largest pickleball ball supplier, and Diadem Sports, known for its high-quality fast-playing balls, are the two brands chosen by The Fort. Both companies are celebrated for their durable and high-performing balls, which resist cracking during intense play. Their partnership reinforces The Fort’s commitment to providing the best equipment for players at all levels.
“Our collaborations with Franklin and Diadem reflect our dedication to providing top-tier experiences to our players,” said Brad Tuckman, CEO of The Fort. “These brands are leaders in the sport, and their commitment to quality aligns perfectly with our vision to elevate pickleball on a global scale.”
Premium Programming for All Levels
The Fort, featuring over 24 teaching professionals, integrates Franklin and Diadem balls into its daily programs, including training sessions and leagues. This ensures that players, from beginners to pros, have access to the highest-quality equipment, offering an exceptional pickleball experience.
“We want to provide a well-rounded experience that highlights the unique strengths and performance of both brands,” Tuckman explained.
Giving Back to the Community
The Fort is committed to growing the sport at the grassroots level through its Community Give-Back Program. Members can donate new and used balls, which will be distributed to local schools in Fort Lauderdale. This initiative is aimed at introducing pickleball to schools, providing necessary equipment and training, and fostering a love for the sport in the community.
“By bringing pickleball into local schools with the right programming and faculty training, we’re ensuring that this sport is accessible to everyone,” said RK Bacalla, Head Pro at The Fort.
The Fort: A Pickleball Destination
The Fort spans nine acres in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, offering 43 courts, including 14 weatherproof options. It features a lakeside entertainment complex with dining, retail, and the world’s first pickleball stadium. The facility is designed to be a premier destination, blending sport, lifestyle, and community engagement.
The Fort is set to open this month, with a grand celebration scheduled for April. The venue is expected to redefine the pickleball experience, combining competitive play with community outreach and involvement.
