The Greater Gainesville Pickleball Open will take place on April 26-27, 2025, at two top venues in Gainesville, Florida. Hosted by Pepine Gives, the non-profit foundation of Pepine Realty, the event will raise funds for Alachua Habitat for Humanity. The tournament will feature a variety of skill-level brackets and offer prize money for the top teams in the Moneyball event.

Tournament Details

The tournament will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church and The 300 Club, featuring dedicated pickleball courts. Competitors will play in 2.0-4.5 brackets using a round-robin format, while the 5.0+ division and Moneyball event will use double-elimination formats.

All matches will follow a best-of-three or games-to-15 format, with each game won by a 2-point margin.

The skill levels for participants range from 2.5 and below to 5.0+, with self-rating required. Age eligibility will be calculated as of December 31, 2025. The top three teams in each bracket will receive medals, with all participants receiving a dri-fit tee and a swag bag.

Registration and Fees

Registration for the event opens on January 18, 2025. Early registration costs $60 per player through February 2, with fees increasing up to $80 by the registration deadline on April 17, 2025. The first event is included in the registration fee, and additional events can be added for $10 each.

All registration and payments are made online through the official website. There will be no mail-in or in-person registration at the time of the tournament.

Prize Money
