The 2025 PEAK Mixed LiveBall Knockout Tournament will take place on March 29-30, 2025, at the PEAK Health and Wellness Center in Missoula, Montana. The event will feature two exciting days of pickleball competition, with players entering a LiveBall Knockout tournament and a mixed round-robin bracket competition. The tournament will be limited to 72 players, with registration open until March 23.
Tournament Overview
The tournament kicks off on Saturday, March 29, with the Mixed LiveBall Knockout tournament, divided into two divisions: 3.0-3.5 and 3.5-4.0.
Players will participate in a LiveBall competition, where teams rotate through four simultaneous courts for 20-minute intervals. The results from this event will determine the seeding for a knockout round, where teams face off in timed 8-minute games. The last team standing wins.
On Sunday, March 30, the tournament continues with a mixed round-robin bracket. Each division will play five guaranteed games to determine the top three teams in each division. Medals and cash prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.
Calcutta Auction
In addition to the competition, a Calcutta auction will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Participants can bid on their favorite Open players, with the auction starting at 3:30 p.m. and play beginning at 4:00 p.m.
A percentage of the auction pot will benefit the Missoula Education Foundation. Last year, the auction raised $2,700, with the top team and owner taking home $1,580.
Registration and Costs
Players can register for the tournament online. The cost is $59 for non-members and $49 for PEAK members. The registration deadline is March 23, 2025.
