Sarnia Lambton Spring Smash: The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club (SLPC) will host the Spring Smash from May 2-4, 2025, at Cestar Group Athletics and Fitness at Lambton College. Event Details
The tournament includes Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles for players aged 60 and over on Friday, followed by Men’s and Women’s play on Saturday, and Mixed Doubles on Sunday. Participants are guaranteed a minimum of four games with round-robin play and cross-over playoffs.
Registration opens January 20, 2025, and closes April 23, 2025. The cost is CAD 60.00 per participant, which includes access to the tournament and guaranteed gameplay. Participants must be members of Pickleball Canada to compete.
Venue and Amenities
The event will take place at Cestar Group Athletics and Fitness, featuring eight courts spread across two gymnasiums. For out-of-town players, a special rate has been arranged at the Four Points Sheraton Point Edward. A reception will be held in the Lion’s Den on Friday night for all participants and sponsors.
Health and Safety Measures
The SLPC recommends the use of protective eyewear for all participants to ensure safety during play. Additionally, tournament merchandise will be available for purchase.
