Among the notable closures, Margaritaville, the iconic restaurant chain inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s music, has shut down after a decade at Destiny USA.
The decision to close after ten years was a mutual one between the mall and the brand. Margaritaville’s vibrant atmosphere and tropical dishes will no longer be a part of the mall’s dining options.
In addition, other popular venues such as TGI Fridays and World of Beer have also closed their doors in recent months. TGI Fridays shut down unexpectedly in October 2024, while World of Beer ended its presence in New York State in June 2024 after a decade at Destiny USA. At Home, a décor and furniture store, also closed over the summer.
