The 2025 BDC Spring Slam will take place from May 3-4, 2025, at the Black Diamond Pickleball Complex in Marion, Illinois. This tournament will feature competitive events in men’s and women’s doubles, along with mixed doubles, offering a chance to win medals in each category.
Registration for the event opens on January 20, 2025, and will close on April 26, 2025. The entry fee is $40. The tournament will use round-robin play, with one game to 15 points (win by 2) leading into single-elimination playoffs.
Medal matches will be a best of 2 out of 3 games to 11 points (win by 2). Depending on registration numbers, the tournament director may adjust formats or combine skill levels or age groups.
Tournament Schedule
The tournament will be held over two days. On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the men’s and women’s doubles events will begin at 8:00 AM.
Sunday, May 4, 2025, will feature mixed doubles starting at 8:00 AM as well. Each participant must register individually through the website, even if their partner has already tagged them.
Rules and Regulations
The tournament will follow USA Pickleball rules. The official schedule and brackets will be posted approximately one week before the event starts. The brackets will automatically be posted at midnight on the tournament day.
Registration and Refund Information
Participants are encouraged to register early, as the registration system charges an additional fee of $5 for one event or up to $10 for multiple events.
Refunds are available until the registration deadline, minus the system fee and a $5 transaction fee. No refunds will be issued after April 26, 2025.
Venue and Parking
The event will be held at the Black Diamond Pickleball Complex, located at 500 E Thompson Street in Marion, Illinois. There is no parking fee at the venue, and parking will be available for all attendees.
