The Walnut Grove Christian School Pickleball Tournament will take place on March 1, 2025, at Pickleball Charlotte – Sharon Lakes in Charlotte, NC. The event will feature pool play followed by a single-elimination tournament, with prizes of up to $500.
Tournament Format and Details
Registration opens on January 17, 2025, and closes on February 24, 2025. The cost to register is $2.50. The tournament will begin with pool play, where teams play games to 15, win by 1. The top 4 teams from each pool will advance to the main single-elimination draw. Matches in the elimination round will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
First-round losers will play each other to determine 3rd place. If fewer than four teams register for a specific event, it will be combined with other events, based on age or skill level, to ensure the best playing experience for participants.
Rules on Partner Replacement
If a player loses a partner after registration closes, they must replace the partner within the same skill/age group. Players can either play up in skill or down in age. Any partner changes must be communicated by 6 PM the day before the event.
Prize Money
Prize money will be awarded to the top finishers in the following categories:
- Dilly Dally: $150
- Family Dill: $300
- Big Dilly: $500

The tournament will be held indoors at Pickleball Charlotte – Sharon Lakes, located at 8401 Sharon Lakes Rd, Charlotte, NC. There is no parking fee for participants or spectators.
