Proshot Pickleball will host its 2nd annual Madness in March tournament from March 14 to March 16, 2025. Held at the state-of-the-art facility in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, the event offers $1,500 in cash prizes across multiple categories.
Tournament Details
The tournament will feature Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Youth events, with skill brackets ranging from 3.0 to 5.0+ and age groups from 9-49 and 50+. Players will compete in a round-robin format, with all events including playoff rounds to determine final standings.
In addition to the prize money, winners in the Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, and split-age doubles events will be entered into a raffle for a $1,500 cash prize. This drawing will be broadcast live on Facebook on Sunday, March 16.
Registration Information
Registration for the tournament is $75 per person, with an additional $10 fee per event and $40 for prize money events. Junior players can register for $40, with no additional event fees. Participants must register by March 11, 2025, and teams must have both players registered and paid to secure their spot.
The tournament director reserves the right to merge divisions if necessary, ensuring fair play. Referees will be used for gold medal matches only.
Prizes and Payouts
Several events will offer prize money, including Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories. Payouts will be distributed as follows:
- Gold: 60%
- Silver: 30%
- Bronze: 10%
For the Men’s Doubles 4.5 skill division, the prize pool will include 75% of the event fees or $30 per player.
Venue and Additional Information
The pickleball tournament will be held at Proshot Pickleball, located at 6725 E. Black Horse Pike #30B, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. There is no parking fee, and lodging is available nearby at the Hampton Inn on Tilton Road.
