New Heights for PickleRage: Three New Clubs and More to Come in 2025

New Heights for PickleRage: PickleRage, a leading indoor pickleball club franchise, celebrated a successful 2024 with the opening of three new facilities. These include locations in West Bloomfield, MI, Jacksonville, FL, and Glen Burnie, MD. With plans for more clubs in 2025, PickleRage is set to meet the increasing demand for indoor pickleball.

In 2024, PickleRage marked significant growth by launching three state-of-the-art facilities. The club is preparing to open its next location in Mobile, AL, this spring. The brand also signed seven new franchise agreements to expand into cities like Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids in Michigan and Wilmington in North Carolina.

Strategic Partnerships

PickleRage strengthened its position in the industry by partnering with the Johnson family, well-known figures in the pickleball community. As the official indoor club for JW Johnson, Julie Johnson, and Jack Johnson, this collaboration enhances PickleRage’s credibility. The partnership aligns the club with recognized players, making it a preferred destination for pickleball enthusiasts.

Industry Growth

Pickleball is recognized as the fastest-growing sport in America. According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), participation grew 51.8% from 2022 to 2023, totaling a 223.5% increase over the last three years. By providing advanced facilities and hosting tournaments, PickleRage is at the forefront of this growth, creating a welcoming community for players of all skill levels.

Other hires include Christopher Angulo as Director of National Programming and Alison Elliott as Director of Marketing. These leaders bring innovative strategies and a commitment to excellence.

Future Vision

In 2024, PickleRage upgraded its facilities with advanced technology, enhancing the playing experience. The brand saw record membership growth and hosted numerous leagues and tournaments. In 2025, PickleRage plans to offer more leagues, clinics, and family-friendly events to help players bond and thrive.

The club aims to nurture the next generation of players through school programs and sponsorships for young athletes. By promoting health and wellness, PickleRage hopes to strengthen community ties. As demand for indoor pickleball grows, the expansion of facilities will ensure accessible and quality experiences for players.

PickleRage plans to partner with enthusiastic franchisees to expand its reach, aiming for over 500 locations in the next five years. The investment cost to open a PickleRage club ranges from $827,800 to $1,803,200.
