2025 ABQ Pickleball Labor Day Classic Will Test Your Skills in Albuquerque

The 2025 ABQ Pickleball Labor Day Classic will take place from August 30 to September 1, 2025, at the Manzano Mesa Outdoor Pickleball Courts in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Registration for the event opens on January 29, 2025, and closes on August 24, 2025.

Tournament Overview

This event marks the fourth annual Labor Day Classic hosted by the ABQ Pickleball Club. It will feature three days of exciting competition, with Saturday dedicated to doubles, Sunday for mixed doubles, and Monday for singles matches. All games will follow a round-robin format, ensuring plenty of play for participants.

The tournament will begin at 8:00 AM each day, with bracket start times determined based on the number of players. The official ball for the tournament is the Franklin X, and players are reminded not to wear neon green during matches.

Registration and Costs

The registration fee for the tournament is $40. Players must register before August 24, 2025. A $10 administration fee will be deducted from any refund requests. Refunds will not be granted after September 25 unless there are extreme circumstances, which will be handled at the discretion of the tournament director.

Weather Policy

As an outdoor tournament, the ABQ Pickleball Labor Day Classic will continue in most weather conditions. However, there are no backup indoor facilities or rain dates, and no refunds will be issued for inclement weather.

Venue Information

The tournament will be held at the Manzano Mesa Outdoor Pickleball Courts located at 501 Elizabeth St SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is no parking fee at the venue. Participants are encouraged to prepare for the outdoor conditions and enjoy the competition.
