The 2025 Edward Jones Rally in the Valley Pickleball Tournament will take place from August 22 to 24 at the Linn Benton Community College Pickleball Courts in Albany, Oregon. Hosted by the Albany Pickleball Club and Shane Denning, the event will feature a weekend of exciting competition, good food, and community fun.
Registration and Fees
Registration for the tournament opens on January 8, 2025, and closes on August 16, 2025. Early bird registration is available through May 1 for $50 plus $15 per event. After that, prices increase, with regular registration costing $60 through August 1, and late registration at $65 until the deadline.
A $10 discount is available for Albany Pickleball members. Participants will also have the option to purchase a tournament shirt for $20 if registered by August 13.
Tournament Schedule
The tournament will begin on Friday, August 22, with Men’s Skill/Age Doubles. Saturday, August 23, will feature Mixed Skill/Age Doubles, followed by Women’s Doubles Skill/Age on Sunday, August 24.
Food and Amenities
In addition to pickleball, the event offers a variety of food options. Stick A Pork In It Food Truck will be serving Cuban American meals from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Bodhi Bakery will provide morning pastries, and free coffee will be available for all players. There will also be free player snacks all day long.
For those interested in the Albany area, the Albany Art & Air Festival will be taking place alongside the tournament, offering a great opportunity for visitors to explore local art and enjoy community events.
Venue and Facilities
The tournament will be held at the Linn Benton Community College Pickleball Courts, which feature 8 dedicated courts and 4 temporary courts. The event will use Franklin X-40 balls for all games. The courts will be open to participants, and parking is free for all attendees.
Refund Policy
The event offers a full refund for cancellations made before August 1, 2025. If the tournament is canceled due to adverse weather or unforeseen events, up to 50% of fees will be refunded.
