Tournament Details
The Shamrock Showdown tournament will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, with men’s and women’s doubles scheduled for the morning and mixed doubles in the afternoon. The event will follow a round-robin format, with medal matches played after the round-robin stages.
Matches will be held on 12 state-of-the-art indoor pickleball courts at Performance Pickleball RVA. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each bracket, with divisions in men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles based on skill and age levels.
Registration and Fees
Registration opens on January 20, 2025, and closes on March 15, 2025. The registration fee is $65 per player, which includes a free tournament t-shirt, swag bag, and one food and drink ticket for Kitchen RVA during the event. Players can choose to participate in two events or just one, with an additional $15 charge for each extra event.
The tournament also offers a discount of $15 for members of the Foster City Pickleball Club. However, players must sign up by April 12, 2025, to qualify for the discount.
Venue and Parking
The event will be held indoors at Performance Pickleball RVA, located at 8641 Quioccasin Rd, Henrico, VA. Free parking is available on-site, as well as in the surrounding shopping center. Handicap parking is conveniently located by the entrances.
Refund Policy
Since the Shamrock Showdown is a fundraising event, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or withdrawals. Players are encouraged to register early, as no refunds will be provided after registration is complete.
