The Pickle Factory Spring Slam 2025 will be held from April 4-6, 2025, at The Pickle Factory in Bel Air, Maryland. This is the second of four major tournaments hosted by Upper Bay Pickleball this year, and players will earn points toward the Pickle Factory Cup Championship.
Tournament Details
Registration for the tournament opens on February 2, 2025, and closes on March 30, 2025. Early bird pricing ends on February 16, 2025, with registration fees set at $55 for one event and $65 for two events. Players must have their doubles partners register within three days to avoid being placed on the waitlist.
Matches will follow a round-robin format, with games to 15 points (win by 2) for pools of five teams or fewer. Pools of six teams or more will play games to 11 points (win by 2).
After the round-robin stage, the top teams will advance to playoffs. Gold and silver matches will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, while the bronze medal match will be a game to 15.
Registration and Fees
Players must register according to their DUPR rating. If they don’t have a DUPR rating, they may register based on their pickleballbrackets rating. The tournament will be adhering to USA Pickleball rules, and players will need to use paddles from the USAPA approved list.
Venue and Parking
The tournament will take place at The Pickle Factory, located at 2302 Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD. Parking is free for all participants.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
There will be no refunds after March 30, 2025. Players who need a replacement partner after the registration deadline can contact the tournament organizers. If a replacement is found, the original player’s fee will be refunded, provided the new player meets the eligibility criteria for the bracket.
