The 4th Annual Flagstaff Open Pickleball Tournament, now renamed the Beat the Heat Open 2025, will take place from June 20-22, 2025, at the NAU Tennis Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. The tournament promises a weekend of competitive pickleball in indoor and outdoor settings.
Tournament Details
Registration for the event opens on February 2, 2025, and closes on June 16, 2025. Early bird registration is available until March 3, 2025, for only $50. After that, the registration fee increases to $70, which includes a $10 fee for referees during the medal rounds. The tournament will feature skill divisions of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5, and age divisions of 12+, 35+, 50+, and 60+.
The competition will take place over three days, with women’s events on Friday, June 20, men’s events on Saturday, June 21, and mixed events on Sunday, June 22. All play will be round-robin with medal rounds for groups of more than four teams. The event will use the Dura Fast 40 ball, and gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to winners in each bracket.
Venue and Logistics
The tournament will be held at the NAU Tennis Center, located at 821 S. San Francisco St, Flagstaff, Arizona. The center will have up to 12 courts, and the event is scheduled to be held indoors, depending on the weather. Pets are allowed outside but not inside the venue.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Participants can receive a full refund until June 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM. No refunds will be issued after that time.
