Hope College Summer Pickleball Bash Brings High Level Competition to Michigan

The 2025 Hope College Summer Pickleball Bash will take place from June 28 to June 30 at the Hope College Tennis Center in Holland, Michigan. This pickleball event will feature singles, gendered doubles, and mixed doubles competitions, offering a round-robin format with playoff brackets for larger divisions.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The tournament will be open to players of all skill levels, with matches organized based on DUPR ratings. Competitors will not be allowed to play below their rating, and rankings will be checked on June 1 to adjust bracket placements if necessary.

The schedule includes:

  • Friday, June 28 – Singles matches starting at 12 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 29 – Men’s and women’s doubles at 8 a.m.
  • Sunday, June 30 – Mixed doubles at 12 p.m.

A full tournament schedule, including start times, will be released the Monday before the event.

Registration and Prize Pool

Registration opens on February 1, 2025, and closes on June 18, 2025, at noon. The entry fee is $50, with refunds available until the registration deadline.

The Open Division will offer cash prizes, with winning doubles teams receiving $500 per team and singles winners earning $250, provided at least seven teams register for the division.

Venue and Weather Considerations

The event will be held at the Hope College Tennis Center, with 12 outdoor courts. In case of bad weather, matches will move to the venue’s 12-court indoor facility to ensure uninterrupted play. Free parking is available on-site.
