Registration opens on January 31, 2025, with fees starting at $30. The tournament will feature mixed, men’s, and women’s doubles across several skill levels, with prize money for the top teams in the open divisions.

The event will use a round-robin format followed by bracket play, and scores will be recorded in the DUPR system. Players can compete in various divisions, ranging from 3.0 to 4.5+ skill levels. The open divisions, which include more advanced players, will offer cash prizes based on the total entry fees collected.

Registration Details and Cost

The registration fee for the tournament is $30 per event for non-open divisions, with the price increasing to $35 after February 9. Open divisions cost $50 per event, with $20 from each entry going toward the cash prize pool.

Registrants must sign up before the final deadline on April 7, 2025, to secure their spot. Participants who request a refund before April 7 will receive a full refund, minus transaction fees.

The tournament will feature various event formats based on the number of teams, including single round-robin play and playoff brackets to determine winners. Each division will have a minimum of 4 teams and a maximum of 12, depending on registration numbers.

Prize Money and Event Series

The open divisions will offer prize money, with the top three teams in each division receiving a portion of the prize pool. The prize breakdown is as follows: 65% for 1st place, 25% for 2nd place, and 10% for 3rd place.

The tournament is part of a four-event series, with medalists from the first three events earning higher seeding for the grand finale, set to take place in late 2025.

The Colorado Champions Cup promises to be an exciting event for pickleball players of all skill levels. Participants will not only get the chance to compete for prizes but also enjoy the friendship of the local pickleball community.
