Tournament Details
The doubles tournament will feature two-player teams, with brackets based on skill level. Each team will compete in a round-robin format, playing one match against every other team in their bracket. The games will be one game to 11 points, with a “win by 2” rule. Medals will be awarded at the end of each division, and there will be no playoff games.
Players must register with a partner. If a participant does not have a partner, they can sign up as “Need Partner,” and will be paired with someone once registered. Teams must complete registration and payment by March 15, 2025, to guarantee their spot in the tournament.
A Good Cause
The tournament has a charitable element. 100% of the profits will go to the senior pickleball program at Sumter County Recreation Center. In addition, bottled water and fruit will be provided to all registered players, and cash donations will be accepted at the event. While donations are not required, they are appreciated.
