The 2025 DC Classic Pickleball Tournament: Washington DC’s Premier Pickleball Showdown!

The 2025 DC Classic Pickleball Tournament will take place on May 4, 2025, at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center in Washington, DC. Registration opens on February 5, 2025, with a cost of $42.50 for one event and $52.50 for two events, increasing after March 31.

Tournament Details

This year marks the fifth annual DC Classic, and for the first time, this pickleball tournament will be held indoors at DC’s premier tennis facility. The event is open to DC residents, those who play regularly in DC, or players who register with a DC resident partner. Divisions include mixed doubles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles, with skill levels ranging from Intermediate (below 4.0) to Advanced (4.0+).

The format will be round robin, ensuring participants get plenty of play before the medal rounds. Teams will be grouped by age, with each event guaranteeing at least four games.

Registration Information

Registration runs through April 25, 2025, and players must register individually. Teams will need to confirm both partners’ registrations before the deadline. Players who do not have a partner by April 25 may be moved to the waiting list.

Refund and Other Details

A $5 service fee will be added to each registration, with refunds available until April 1, 2025. No refunds will be given after that. Players will receive a tournament T-shirt if they register by April 12.
