The Time to Dink Pickleball Tournament will take place on May 3-4, 2025, at the Daytona Golf Club in Dayton, Minnesota. This exciting pickleball event will feature singles and doubles divisions for players of various skill levels, offering a competitive environment and exciting prizes for the top performers.
Tournament Overview
Registration for the tournament opens on January 27, 2025, at 8:00 AM CST, and will close on April 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM CST. The entry fee is $35, but the cost will increase to $40 on April 7, 2025.
Players must have a DUPR rating during signup, and all participants must play in the appropriate division according to their rating. The divisions are 3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0, and 4.0+, with a requirement for all team members to meet certain DUPR scores.
Event Schedule
On Saturday, May 3, the Co-ed Doubles Division will be held in three skill categories:
- 3.0-3.5: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 3.5-4.0: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- 4.0+: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Sunday, May 4, will feature the Co-ed Singles events:
- 3.0-4.0: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 4.0+: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Each division will begin with round robin play, where matches will be one game to 11, win by 1. In the medal rounds, matches will be one game to 15, win by 2.
Top teams from each pool will move to the Main Draw Medal Rounds, while the bottom teams will be moved to a Consolation Draw.
Registration and Scoring Rules
Players must register their partners within 7 days of initial signup to secure their spots. Those who miss the deadline will be moved to the waitlist.
In addition, players are required to use USAPA or UPA-approved paddles for all matches. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division.
Refund and Venue Information
This pickleball tournament will take place indoors, meaning that weather conditions will not affect the schedule. There will be no parking fee at the Daytona Golf Club, located at 14730 Lawndale Lane N, Dayton, Minnesota.
Cancellations made up to 7 days before the tournament will be refunded, but no refunds will be provided after that period.
