St. Patrick’s Day Tournament Promises Cash Prizes and Fierce Pickleball Battles

Pickleball enthusiasts will gather in Vernon, Connecticut, from March 14-16, 2025, for the annual Professor Dink’s St. Patrick’s Day Tournament. The competition, hosted at The Pickleball Place on Pitkin Road, will feature singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events for players of all skill levels. Cash prizes will be awarded in open divisions.

Organizers have confirmed that registration opens on February 9 at 3:30 p.m. EST and will close on March 14 at noon EST. The entry fee is set at $60 per player.

Medal winners and top finishers in the open divisions will receive cash prizes, provided that at least five players or teams enter their respective categories. Tournament schedules will be finalized and released on March 12.

Pickleball Tournament Schedule and Details

The competition kicks off on Friday, March 14, with women’s singles and men’s singles (3.0-4.0 skill levels) scheduled for 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. The evening will also feature the highly anticipated Cash Co-ed 4.5+ Singles division.

Saturday, March 15, will see men’s and women’s doubles matches ranging from 2.5 to 4.5+ skill levels, alongside the Cash Co-ed 4.5+ Doubles event. Finally, Sunday, March 16, will conclude the tournament with mixed doubles competitions across all skill levels from 2.5 to 4.5+.

To ensure fair play and balanced matchups, tournament organizers may adjust divisions by age and skill level based on registration numbers. Prize money allocations may also be adjusted depending on final participation.

Venue and Registration Information

The Pickleball Place, located at 10 Pitkin Road in Vernon, will serve as the venue. Organizers have confirmed that parking is free for all participants and spectators.

To ensure flexibility for competitors, the event offers a refund policy: If a registered player’s start time conflicts with their schedule, they can request a full refund up to 48 hours before their match.

With the increasing popularity of pickleball, this year’s tournament is expected to draw a significant number of participants. As the event approaches, players and fans eagerly anticipate another exciting edition of Professor Dink’s St. Patrick’s Day Tournament.
