The Arizona Gold Cup 2025 will take place on March 29-30, 2025, at the Arizona Athletic Grounds. Early bird registration is now open, with a $10 discount available using the code “AAGGold10” until February 26 at 8 AM or until the first 100 players complete their registration. This event promises exciting competition and plenty of opportunities for players to win big.

Event Format and Schedule

The pickleball tournament will feature a round-robin format followed by brackets, with a minimum of six games per player.

Competitors can look forward to doubles matches on Saturday, mixed doubles on Sunday, and singles on either day. All matches will be played using the Franklin X40 ball, and scores will automatically be posted through the DUPR system.

PicklePerks and Cash Prizes

New this year is the PicklePerks program, which rewards players for event registrations and victories. These points can be used for future event registrations or to purchase APA apparel.

Additionally, the tournament will include an OPEN Cash Prize division for men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles, with $2,000 in cash prizes available for each category. This division is capped at 14 teams, so high-level teams are encouraged to register early to secure their spot and compete for the cash prizes.

The Arizona Gold Cup will add to the growing excitement around pickleball in the region. By offering competitive play and new rewards, the event is likely to attract more players and fans to the sport.
