Summit County Pickleball is set to host its 3rd annual Pickle in the Snowy Peaks tournament on February 15-16 at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. The event will feature men’s, women’s, mixed, and youth competitions, drawing a full lineup of players and encouraging spectators to attend.
Tournament Schedule and Format
The pickleball tournament kicks off on Saturday, February 15, with women’s matches. Sunday, February 16, will feature men’s, mixed, and youth divisions. Matches are divided into three skill levels: recreational (8:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m.), intermediate (12:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m.), and competitive (3:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.).
Unique Playing Format
Participants will play two rounds of four games each with different partners. No partner is required to register, and the top three players in each division will earn prizes, earning the title of Kings and Queens of the Court.
A Growing Tradition
The event has become a highlight for the local pickleball community, bringing together experienced and new players alike. Although registration is full, organizers encourage fans to visit the Breckenridge Recreation Center at 880 Airport Rd. to watch the action.
