Pickleball Training for Teens: Coconut Creek is offering teens a chance to learn and play pickleball through an upcoming Teen Pickleball Clinic. The program, designed to teach the fundamentals of the fast-growing sport, will be held outdoors at the Community Center courts at 1100 Lyons Road. The clinic runs on Thursdays from April 24 through May 15, with classes scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Open to All Skill Levels
The pickleball clinic is open to teens ages 14 to 17, welcoming players of all experience levels. Participants will be grouped based on age and ability to create a fun and engaging environment. The pickleball sessions will focus on essential skills, game rules, and strategies while promoting physical activity and friendly competition.
Registration and Participation Details
The cost to attend is $10 for Coconut Creek residents and $20 for non-residents. Credit card payments are required. Participants must bring their pickleball paddles. Registration is currently open and will continue until all 20 spots are filled.
Interested individuals can sign up online or register in person at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. A WebTrac account is required for online registration.
