The 2025 Spring Classic Pickleball Tournament will take place from March 28 to March 30 at the Sandcastle Resort Condominiums in Port Aransas, Texas. The event will feature a fun round-robin format with playoffs for gold, silver, and bronze in various skill categories ranging from 3.0 to 4.5+.
The tournament will be held on outdoor pickleball courts with a tennis surface, hosted by Sandcastle Resort Condominiums and Island Pickleball Company.
Participants will compete in women’s doubles on March 28, mixed doubles on March 29, and men’s doubles on March 30. The event is expected to attract pickleball players from various skill levels, with age brackets set based on the registrations.
Early Registration and Fees
Registration for the tournament opened on February 13, 2025, and will close on March 15, 2025. The registration fee is $35, with an additional $15 fee per event.
Early registration, available from February 14 to February 28, offers a discount at $35 plus $15 per event. Starting March 1, the registration fee will rise to $50, and late registration after March 15 will cost $65. The event allows one entry per day.
Skill Level and Rating Requirements
Players are required to self-rate their skill levels when registering. However, the tournament director (TD) reserves the right to adjust ratings for players who may be underestimating their abilities. Players must not play in a division lower than their DUPR or USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR).
Refund Policy
The tournament has a clear refund policy. A $15 administrative fee will be charged for all withdrawals. No refunds will be given after the registration period ends.
Venue and Additional Information
The tournament will take place at Sandcastle Resort Condominiums, located at 800 Sandcastle Drive in Port Aransas, Texas. There is no parking fee, but overnight parking is not allowed at the venue. The tournament will be played using the Franklin X-40 pickleball.
Participants and spectators are encouraged to register early to secure their spots and take advantage of the discounted registration rates.
