The 2nd Annual Fur Rondyball Pickleball Tournament is scheduled for February 21-22, 2025, in Anchorage, Alaska. Tournament Details
The tournament will be held over two days, with different skill levels on each day. On Friday, February 21, the 3.0 and 3.5 skill levels will compete, with 3.0 mixed doubles starting at 9 a.m. and 3.5 at 2 p.m.
Saturday, February 22, will feature the 4.0 and 4.5 skill levels, with 4.5 mixed doubles at 9 a.m. and 4.0 at 2 p.m.
Each skill level is limited to 12 teams. The format will consist of two pools of six teams each, playing round-robin games to 15 points. Afterward, all teams will advance to single-elimination brackets, with matches to 11 points. Medal rounds will be played as two out of three games to 11 points.
Registration and Fees
Early registration for the event closed on February 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Players who registered before January 15 paid a $60 entry fee, while those who registered later paid $70. If players needed a partner, they had five days to find one before being moved to the waitlist. Payment was due immediately upon registration to secure a spot.
Rules and Regulations
The tournament will use the Onix Fuse Orange as the official ball, and only USAP-approved paddles are allowed. Participants are asked not to wear orange clothing, and the games will take place on basketball gym flooring.
