Event Format and Schedule
The pickleball tournament offers two round-robin formats: set partner and rotating partner. Players in gender doubles must enter as a pair, while mixed doubles participants can sign up individually. The schedule is structured to match skill levels fairly:
- Saturday Morning: Men’s 7.5+ & Women’s 7.5+ (Set Partner)
- Saturday Afternoon: Mixed 3.75+ (Rotating Partner)
- Sunday Morning: Men’s 6.0-7.5 & Women’s 6.0-7.5 (Set Partner)
- Sunday Afternoon: Mixed 2.75-3.75 (Rotating Partner)
Player Experience and Competition
The event, played on outdoor hard courts using Franklin X-40 balls, ensures a competitive yet enjoyable atmosphere.
The DUPR rating system will determine entry eligibility, creating level-based play. Participants will be able to track their performance live through the Swish App.
Registration and Prizes
The registration fee is $45 for one division, with discounted rates for additional entries: $35 for a second division and $25 for a third.
Top performers will be awarded Mauna Lani trophies, and players can enjoy light refreshments and a cornhole prize draw throughout the event.
Important Details and Policies
Courts will open 30 minutes before play begins, with matches expected to last 2.5 to 3 hours. Final start times will be emailed to players three days before the event.
The deadline to register is February 26, and refunds will only be available for cancellations made before February 22.
