Tournament Details
On April 5, the tournament for those 60 and older will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This will include Women’s Doubles (3.0 & 3.5), Men’s Doubles (3.0, 3.5 & 4.0), and Mixed Doubles (3.0, 3.5 & 4.0).
Participants must find their partner for these events. A new addition this year is the 72+ rotating partner event, where 3.5 women and 3.5 men can sign up without a fixed partner. This event will use a scramble format.
On April 6, the tournament will continue for those 59 and under from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This will include the same categories: Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, with participants required to find a fixed partner. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.
Registration Information
The registration fee for one event is $45, which includes the $25 registration fee. A second event can be added for an additional $20, making the total cost for two events $65.
Registration ends on March 16, and participants have seven days to find a partner after signing up. Players will need to use USAPA-approved paddles for the tournament.

The Orange Coast Optimist (OCO) is a 37-year-old non-profit organization that develops youth leadership and cultural awareness through sports and cultural events.
Proceeds from the Sakura Classic will benefit OCO’s various programs, including the Nikkei Games and basketball programs, as well as cultural activities such as Mochitsuki and Taiko.

This pickeball tournament will be held at Tustin Pickleball, located at 1302 Service Road, Tustin, California. There is no parking fee, and participants can park on the street or in small parking lots nearby.
