The inaugural Flowood Big Dill Tournament will take place on March 29, 2025, at Liberty Park Courts in Flowood, Mississippi. Registration opens on February 18, 2025, and closes on March 23, 2025. The registration fee is $60, and players can participate in men’s and women’s doubles, as well as mixed doubles.
Tournament Details
The tournament will begin at 8:00 AM on March 29. Men’s and women’s doubles will take place in the morning, while mixed doubles will follow in the afternoon. Specific start times for each event will be sent to participants about one week before the tournament.
Participants can sign up for one or both events, with a registration cost covering two events. The last day to guarantee a free tournament shirt is March 16, 2025, at 11:55 PM.
Skill Levels and Age Groups
Players will compete in five skill levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+, and age groups of 15+, 35+, 50+, 60+, and 70+. Teams must play at the skill level of the higher-rated player and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of December 31, 2025.
Ratings for the tournament will use DUPR, and the tournament director may adjust players to a higher or lower level if needed.
Registration Process
Participants can register with a partner or indicate they need one. If registering with a partner, the partner must register within five days to secure a spot.
If the partner registers after the grace period, the team will be moved to the waitlist. Players must fully pay the registration fee for both partners before securing a spot in the tournament.
Refund Policy
The last day to withdraw for a refund is March 16, 2025, by midnight. Players withdrawing before this date will receive a refund minus a $20 administrative fee. After March 16, no refunds will be issued unless players have purchased weather and injury tournament insurance.
Tournament Management
There will be no referees for the tournament. Players are expected to monitor their own matches, but tournament management will make efforts to provide referees upon request.
Location and Parking
The Big Dill Tournament will take place at Liberty Park Courts, located at 400 Liberty Park Court in Flowood, Mississippi. Parking is free for all participants.
