The 2025 State Games of Mississippi Pickleball Tournament will take place from May 31 to June 1 at Halls Ferry Park in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Registration opens February 20 and costs $70 per player. The event will feature doubles and singles matches for various age groups, including 17+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 70+, and 80+.
Tournament Schedule and Format
Men’s and Women’s Doubles will kick off the tournament on Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m. Singles matches will follow after the doubles conclude. If enough entries are received, singles may begin on Friday instead.
Sunday will feature Mixed Doubles, also starting at 8:00 a.m. All players must check in 30 minutes before their matches begin. Participants can only sign up for each event once and must register with a partner for doubles, as no partners will be assigned.
This pickleball tournament will use the 2025 USAP round-robin format, including a three-way tiebreaker system. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each age division, even if divisions are combined due to low participation.
Special Rules for Mississippi Teams
According to the event’s official rules, teams with both players from Mississippi cannot be bumped from qualification or medals by out-of-state competitors. However, out-of-state teams must win a medal within their bracket to qualify for future events.
Registration and Refund Policies
Registration will close on May 24, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. CST. There will be no refunds for cancellations or weather-related disruptions. Matches canceled due to weather will not be rescheduled.
