Pickleball for Peace Tournament: Playing for Harmony on February 22

The Pickleball for Peace Tournament will take place on February 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Holua Racquet and Paddle, located at 78-7190 Kaleiopapa St. This event, organized by the West Hawai‘i Mediation Center, aims to promote peace through sports and raise funds for conflict resolution programs.

Event Details

This pickleball tournament welcomes players of all skill levels, encouraging community participation. It will feature a round-robin format with bracket seeding and single elimination. Participants can register as mixed or gendered doubles teams. Those without a partner can still join by purchasing individual tickets.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each division, adding a competitive edge to the fun. Players are encouraged to register together, but individual registrations are welcome.

Supporting a Good Cause

All proceeds from the tournament will directly support various conflict resolution programs offered by the West Hawai‘i Mediation Center. The organization is dedicated to building a culture of peace in the community, making this event a meaningful way to engage and contribute.

Tickets are available online and in person for $55 per person, and attendees have the option to purchase lunch as well.
