UHSPA 2025 Season at Club Pickleball USA: The UHSPA 2025 season will begin on March 1 and run through May 3, 2025, at Club Pickleball USA in Sandhill Road. The league features a rotating partner round-robin format with a team registration fee of $600, covering all costs for six weeks of meets and championships.
Season Format
The pickleball league will have six weeks of play, with no matches during Spring Break on April 5. Teams will play for three weeks, followed by a seeding period for another three weeks.
After that, teams will compete in the State Tournament, with the bottom 16 teams playing in the Division II Tournament on April 19 and the top 16 in the Division I Tournament on April 26.
Championship Events
From May 1-3, the Individual State Tournaments will take place, where schools select their top boys doubles, girls doubles, mixed doubles, boys singles, and girls singles players.
Each team can order up to nine shirts included with their registration. They may also order additional shirts for substitutes and coaches.
Match Rules and Scoring
Matches will consist of a boys match, a girls match, and a mixed match, all played simultaneously. Each match will be a best 2 out of 3, using MLP rally scoring to 21, with teams switching sides at 11. For a school to win against another, it must win at least 2 out of 3 matchups.
During the championships, schools will compete in a single-elimination bracket with games played to 25 points, also using MLP scoring. Roaming USAPA referees will officiate all matches.
Participation Guidelines
Each team can bring one extra male and one extra female as designated substitutes for the week. Substitutes are not allowed to rotate in and out randomly and must play full games. Teams must arrive on time, as schools more than 15 minutes late will forfeit their matches.
By registering, participants agree that neither UHSPA nor the facilities will be held liable for any injuries that occur during play. They also permit the use of photographs and videos of students for promotional purposes.
