Wilmington’s paws4people Charity Pickleball Tournament—How to Play & Support a Great Cause!

The paws4people Charity Pickleball Tournament will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Pickle & Taps in Wilmington, North Carolina. The event, running from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, will raise funds for paws4people, a non-profit that trains and provides service dogs for veterans, children with special needs, and trauma survivors.

Tournament Format and Registration

The tournament will feature teams of two, competing in three skill levels:

  • Beginner
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

All teams will participate in round-robin play, followed by single-elimination bracket matches.

  • Team entry fee: $100 (includes lunch for both players).
  • Prizes: The top three teams in each division will receive medals and bragging rights, while winners will earn paws4people merchandise swag.

Registration closes at midnight on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

A Fun Event with Food, Raffles, and Special Guests

The event will also include a 50/50 cash raffle, a photo booth, and food from Pepe’s Taco Truck. Attendees will have the chance to meet service dogs and puppies in training, as well as paws4people clients who have benefited from the non-profit’s programs.
