Pickleball enthusiasts in Horsham, Pennsylvania, can now enjoy weekly outdoor pickleball sessions at the Horsham Pickleball Courts. Hosted by the Horsham Pickleball Club, this public meetup is open to players of all skill levels, providing a fun, social, and competitive environment every Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST.
The 2025 pickleball season will run weekly until December 31, 2025, giving players a consistent opportunity to hone their skills, meet new players, and participate in challenge matches.
Challenge Court Guidelines
The Challenge Court is reserved for competitive play, allowing players to test their abilities against others. The rules for the Challenge Court are as follows:
- Winning teams stay together and take on the next challengers.
- After three consecutive wins, the winners must yield the court to the next four players.
- Challengers must be ready to play immediately when a match ends.
General Play and Court Rotation System
With six designated courts (Courts #1-6) and space for 40 players per session, the Horsham Pickleball Club ensures smooth game flow through a structured paddle rotation system:
- Game winners stay on the court but must split up for the next match.
- Players who win two consecutive games take a break before rejoining the lineup.
- Courts #7 and #8 are reserved for public use, but if they are unoccupied, players from the Meetup group may use them. However, if public players arrive, Meetup participants must immediately vacate the public courts.
Participation Rules
- RSVP is mandatory: If you sign up but cannot attend, update your status to allow others to participate.
- Arriving late? Post a comment to inform the group.
- Breaks: If you are not ready to play, do not place your paddle in the rotation.
