Pickle Gras Tournament Sees Strong Turnout
The three-day pickleball tournament featured women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles, with mixed doubles being the most popular event. Organizers credited the event’s success to the effort and dedication of local volunteers.
This tournament has always been one of the most successful and fun pickleball tournaments around, and its success is due largely to the amount of effort put into the planning, decorating and running of the tournament. The three-day event featured women’s doubles, mixed doubles and men’s doubles, with the mixed being far and away the most popular.” – (Sam Strite)
“What separates this tournament from most other pickleball tournaments is the local volunteers who come forward to make it smooth running and fun to play in.” – (Sam Strite)
Charitable Donations Support Local Causes
Beyond the competition, the Bama Beach Pickleball Club continued its tradition of giving back to the community. After a strong year, the club donated $3,000 each to four local charities, continuing its mission of supporting organizations where its members volunteer.
