Idaho’s Biggest Pickleball Facility: The 38,000-square-foot complex will be located off Evans Lane, across from Idaho Central Credit Union’s corporate campus. It will feature 10 championship-sized courts, making it one of the premier pickleball facilities in Southeastern Idaho.
“This facility will have 10 courts and every court will be a championship size court. Regardless of what court you’re playing on, it’s a sanctioned court, which means that we’re going to be able to host tournaments. We’re going to be able to bring people in from outside of the area to a facility that is unmatched in Southeastern Idaho.” – (Ellis)

The facility is designed to provide a top-tier playing experience, including:
- Year-round climate control with heating and air conditioning.
- A mezzanine skywalk for spectators to view matches from above.
- Showers and changing rooms for players.
- A pro shop offering gear and equipment.
- On-site food and beverages with a restaurant on the upper level.
- Clinics and leagues run by professional pickleball instructors.
Operating hours are expected to be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. daily.
Membership and Booking Options
Upper Level Pickleball will offer various membership levels, including a founders’ membership with a discounted rate. The facility will also have open play sessions, round-robin tournaments, and private court reservations.
The club will use the CourtReserve app, allowing members to book courts in advance and make large-scale reservations for group events.
Community and Future Growth
Ellis envisions the facility as a hub for growing the sport in the region. He plans to:
- Partner with middle schools, high schools, and Idaho State University to encourage team play.
- Host free weekend clinics with professional players.
- Organize fundraisers to support local causes.
Ellis believes pickleball is a sport for all ages and expects its popularity to continue rising.
