Adaptive Pickleball in Palm Desert: A unique Adaptive Pickleball program is set to take place at Palm Desert Civic Center Park from March 6 to March 27, 2025, offering individuals with disabilities and special needs the opportunity to hone skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and engage in gameplay.

A Program for All Abilities

The weekly sessions, held every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, are designed for standing and sitting players. Sports chairs will be available for those who need them. The program welcomes participants of all ability levels, providing structured drills with progression to full games.

What to Expect

Participants will receive instruction on fundamental skills, focusing on hand-eye coordination and pickleball techniques. Family members are encouraged to attend, offering support and positive reinforcement.

Additional Support

Those needing a sports chair must contact the adaptive team in advance to ensure the proper size is available.
