TopSpin x PCRC Open Brings Thrilling Pickleball Action and Big Cash Prizes

The TopSpin x PCRC Open will take place on May 9-10, 2025, at the Foster City Pickleball Courts in California. This tournament, organized by TopSpin Pickleball and the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center (PCRC), will feature men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles competitions. The event aims to bring the community together while raising funds for PCRC. Registration costs $70, increasing to $100 on March 7, with different pricing for late entries and additional events.

Tournament Format and Prize Money

Matches will follow various formats, including round-robin and double-elimination brackets, depending on the number of teams in each division. Open Division winners will receive cash prizes, with $500 awarded to the gold medalists in men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles, provided at least eight teams compete in each category.

Daily Schedule and Event Details

Men’s and women’s doubles for 3.0+, 3.5+, and 4.0+ players will take place on May 9, while mixed doubles and open cash prize events will be held on May 10. Final start times will be released two weeks before the event, and all players must check in an hour before their scheduled matches.

Refund and Weather Policies

Players can receive a refund until April 25, minus a $25 processing fee. After this date, participants may transfer their spots to another player. In case of rain, refunds will be issued based on the number of matches played.

However, no refunds will be given for other weather-related cancellations or natural disasters. The TopSpin x PCRC Open promises high-level competition and an opportunity to support a community-driven cause.
