New York’s Favorite Outdoor Pickleball Facility: Pickleball is making an early return to Central Park as CityPickle brings the sport back to Wollman Rink starting April 4—one month earlier than last year. Now in its third season, CityPickle at Wollman Rink has attracted over 130,000 players of all ages, solidifying its place as a premier outdoor pickleball facility in New York City.
Transforming Wollman Rink into a Pickleball Hub
During the winter, Wollman Rink is a legendary ice-skating destination, but as temperatures rise, CityPickle converts the space into a world-class pickleball facility. This transformation allows the rink to remain an active recreation hub year-round.
“By transforming the famed ice rink to pickleball courts during the warmer seasons, we can ensure Wollman remains a hub for outdoor activity and recreation year-round.” – (CityPickle Co-Founder Mary Cannon)
CityPickle’s commitment to accessibility includes offering six hours of Community Play daily for just $5 per player, with free paddle rentals provided by CityPickle x JOOLA.

- Group clinics and private lessons for skill development.
