The 2025 BPC Picklin’ for a Cause tournament will take place on September 19-21 at the Union County Rec Dept Pickleball Courts in Blairsville, Georgia. Proceeds will benefit the Webster Fund, which helps children participate in sports programs at the Union County Recreation Department.
Tournament Details and Schedule
Registration opens on March 8, 2025, at 8:00 AM EST and closes on September 10, 2025, at 11:55 PM EST. The entry fee is $50, which includes one event. Additional events cost $5 each.
Matches will follow a round-robin format, with brackets based on skill and age. Games will be played to 11 or 15 points, depending on the number of teams in each bracket.
- September 19 – Men’s and Women’s Doubles (60+)
- September 20 – Mixed Doubles
- September 21 – Men’s and Women’s Doubles (12-59) and Singles
Skill Levels and Rating Adjustments
Players will compete in 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ divisions. DUPR ratings will be used to determine skill placement. Ratings will be reviewed three weeks before the tournament, and players will be moved up if their rating has increased.
Teams must register at the level of the higher-rated player and the age group of the younger player. Age is determined as of December 31, 2025.
Registration Rules and Refund Policy
Players have 10 days to complete payment after registering. If a partner is not found within that time, teams will be moved to a waitlist.
Cancellations before September 4 will be eligible for a refund, minus a $10 administration fee. No refunds will be given due to weather, but six indoor courts will be available if needed.
