Youth Pickleball Cash Game Tournament Brings Thrilling Pickleball Action to Arizona

PURE Pickleball and Padel will host the first-ever Youth Pickleball Cash Game Tournament on March 28-29 at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona. The event will feature young athletes competing for cash prizes, merchandise, and bragging rights.

Tournament Details and Schedule

The pickleball tournament is open to players ages 7-18, with divisions based on age and skill level. Matches will follow a round-robin format leading into a single-elimination tournament.

  • March 28 (4-8 PM) – Ages 13-18 (Beginner, Intermediate, Open)
  • March 29 (8 AM-12 PM) – Ages 7-12 (Beginner, Intermediate)

Games will be played to 11 or 15 points, with semi-finals and finals following a best-of-three format.

Prizes and Player Perks

Winners in all divisions will receive a $200 cash prize. Second and third-place finishers will win merchandise, and all participants will receive swag bags and snacks.

Skill Level Breakdown

  • Beginner: Knows basic rules and can rally consistently.
  • Intermediate: Has experience in league or tournament play.
  • Open (3.5+ DUPR): Competes at an advanced level with strategic play.
