The 1MISSION Tournament will take place on June 21-22, 2025, at The Pickleball Space in Glendale, Arizona. Pickleball Tournament Format and Divisions
Players will compete in four divisions: Beginners (3.0 and under), Improvers (3.5 and under), Intermediate (4.0 and under), and Advanced (5.0+). Matches will follow a double-elimination format if a division has six or more teams.
For divisions with 4-5 teams, a round-robin format will determine seeding for a single-elimination bracket. Each team will play to 15 points, winning by 2, with the top two teams competing for gold and silver in a best-of-three format.
The third and fourth seeds will play for bronze. All participants must sign a liability waiver through the Court Reserve App and ensure their partner is registered before the event.
Registration and Refund Policy
Registration opens on March 11, 2025, at 8:00 AM AZST and closes on June 13, 2025, at 8:00 PM AZST. The entry fee is $75 per player. While registration fees are not tax-deductible, participants can donate directly to 1MISSION through the organization’s website.
To receive a full refund, players must cancel by June 16 at 8:00 PM. After this date, no refunds will be issued, but players may find a replacement up to 12 hours before their bracket starts.
Venue and Safety Guidelines
The pickleball event will be held at The Pickleball Space, located at 5665 W Bell Rd, Glendale, Arizona. The venue provides free parking and enforces health and safety rules, including restrictions on pets, except for leashed service animals.
Players experiencing cold or flu symptoms are encouraged to find a replacement rather than attend. With competitive play and a charitable cause, the 1MISSION Tournament promises an exciting weekend for pickleball enthusiasts while helping families in need.
