Bixby’s Ultimate Pickleball Venue: A new pickleball-focused entertainment venue, Courts & Commons, is set to open in Bixby on March 15. Created by Josh’s Sno Shack founder Josh Juarez, the venue features eight pickleball courts, food options, and interactive games, making it a must-visit spot for pickleball enthusiasts in South Tulsa.
A Pickleball Lover’s Dream
At the heart of Courts & Commons are its eight state-of-the-art pickleball courts, designed for casual and competitive play. Juarez wanted to create a space where players could enjoy the sport while having access to high-quality food and a social atmosphere.
“I wanted to create something really cool. South Tulsa needed more local food, and why not surround it with pickleball, which is the most fun you can have with a group of people.” – (Juarez)
Alongside pickleball, the venue offers additional entertainment, including two interactive dartboards, a bocce-style game called pentanque, and a large outdoor green space for yard games and socializing.
Grand Opening and Free Pickleball Play
The grand opening is set for Saturday, March 15, at 8 a.m. To celebrate, Courts & Commons is offering giveaways throughout the day and a special challenge where visitors can compete against a pickleball pro for a chance to win prizes.
The first 50 guests will receive a free T-shirt and two hours of complimentary pickleball play, making this an exciting event for the local pickleball community.
Book a Court and Play Anytime
Pickleball players can reserve courts in advance to ensure they get playing time. The venue’s court rental rates are:
- Pickleball: $45 per hour
- Darts: $30 per hour
- Pentanque: $10 per hour
While food and drinks are available for walk-in guests, pickleball courts require reservations.
