Pocatello Pickleball Tournament: Pickleball players from across southeast Idaho are gearing up for an exciting weekend as Poky Pickleball hosts its first-ever tournament in Pocatello. Competitors from Rexburg, Twin Falls, Logan, Lava Hot Springs, and Burley will gather to compete for over $7,000 in prizes.
Strong Turnout Expected for Poky Pickleball’s First Tournament
Sterling Murdock, co-owner of Poky Pickleball, expressed excitement about the high participation numbers leading up to the event.
“Just for the pre sign ups and stuff like that, we’ve got pretty good numbers. We’ve got people from Rexburg, Twin Falls, Logan, Lava Hot Springs, Burley and then a lot of our local people over here.” – (Murdock)
Big Prizes and Community Fun
Participants will compete for SLK Pro pickleball paddles, medals, and a variety of other prizes. Additionally, a raffle featuring giveaways from national and local businesses will add to the excitement.
Despite the impressive prize pool, Murdock emphasized that the main goal of the tournament is to bring the pickleball community together.
